What is ACEP?

The Alliance for Cancer Education and Prevention (ACEP) is an after-school club designed to raise money

and awareness for various cancer preventative organizations in the United States, including, but not limited to the

American Cancer Society, and the Bennett Cancer Center. Members of the club have the opportunity to participate

in at least three cancer walks during the year to raise money for survivors, victims, and their family members;

The American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer in Wilton, CT (October),

The American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life overnight Cancer Walk in Wilton, CT (May )

and the Bennett Cancer Center’s THE WALK (June ) in Stamford. CT.

Last year, over one hundred and sixty students camped out overnight to help raise over $20,000.

We danced, sang songs, and lit candles for those that we have lost to cancer and those that have survived.
