Prerequisite: Introduction to Word Processing This course is for students who already have mastered the touch typing system. Students learn to format announcements, MLA reports, personal business letters with a letterhead,
business letters, memos, tables, and resumes with cover letters.
210_STUDY SKILLS FOR SUCCESS
This course equips students with learning and study skills with a focus on how to learn, critical thinking, and reading comprehension. The key areas includes effective listening for note taking, improving memory and concentration, successful test taking, gathering information, and writing effectively.

This course introduces students to practical math principles with an emphasis on discounts, interest, bills, fractions, decimals, percentage, gains and losses, budgets, insurance, checking accounts, and simple records. Consumer Math, a basic course for students preparing to enter the business world immediately after graduation, may be used to complete one year of the math graduation requirement.
